Being late once too often has cost Sam his place in the squad. He was the first to be dropped in the public vote.

Sam Robertson became the first player to be dropped from the squad tonight after Anthony Hutton and Jim Alexander polled more of the public vote.
Poor Sam was absolutely gutted to miss out on the chance of playing at a packed St James' Park.
"It really is so frustrating," he told Zoe and Mark after leaving the Training Camp. "I'm heartbroken. I've been training so hard for this and then chopped on the first night."
His frustration was directed at himself for getting onto the bench for what was a disciplinary reason, rather than a reflection of his footballing talent. "It's just me being silly. I'm always late," he said.
He understood Graham Taylor's decision though. "You've got to be tough," he said of Graham's management.
Sam was impressed with the quality of the squad. "The standard is top notch."
He also spoke warmly of the spirit in the camp. "Everyone's so tight and no one wants anyone to leave." Being on the bench with his two roommates was especially hard.
Sam felt he had a good chance of making the starting XI if he had stayed. Graham Taylor acknowledged that he had shown some ability in training. "I'm just gutted talking about it, that I'm not going to be there."
Asked for a prediction, he said confidently, "2-0 to the Celebs."
After Sam's departure, Graham Taylor announced the next three players to be put on the bench: Steve Brookstein, Patrick McGuiness and Iwan Thomas.
The player with the least votes will become the second to be dropped from the squad. It's up to you.
