Jim Alexander has admitted it was hard returning to the Celebrities after three days away from the Training Camp.

After three days off, Jim's finding it hard to get back into the swing of the Celebrity squad mentality. He's had to lay off the lager for starters.
Jim gave his thoughts to The Match website.
How does it feel to be back in the squad?
It's quite weird because I left on Wednesday night and I just started drinking. I was
totally off the ball but I was really concentrating when I was in the [Training Camp].
When you get booted out, you think, I might as well have a drink.
Any kebabs involved?
No, my eating's been alright, it's just I've been drinking quite a lot of lager. Then I
get the phone call yesterday. Coming back in, with the level of intensity it's at, it's
quite weird. Now I've got to try and get my brain in gear for tomorrow.
Had you relaxed, mentally?
Yes, I'd completely shut off.
But the squad are more intense now than when you left?
Yeah, it's a different place now. I've relaxed but they're really, really focused.
How did the rest of the squad react to you coming back in?
They obviously knew about it yesterday. Paddy said that I'd slagged him off on telly, but
I don't think I did. I said he was the funniest man in the world. I think I did say his
first touch wasn't too good, so he's not talking to me. But I think Graham Taylor would
say the same thing.
You must have been gutted to leave.
Oh I was, yeah. It was horrible the way I had to go.
Especially after playing so well against the Academy side.
Yeah, but you're up against Tuffers, aren't you? And that's a real problem. But I'm going
to be there now, which is great. Now I've got to get my level of intensity back to where
they are. I probably need a good sleep.
You've met the Legends. How seriously are they taking it?
They are taking it really seriously. They are really up for it. There's quite a lot of
rivalry. There's a lot riding on this. I think we showed them up a bit last year, so they
want to stuff us 5-0.
