Phil Tufnell's reputation was left in the balance when the Celebs tried their hands at floodlit cricket.
Showing they can play more than football, the Celebs had a cracking game of cricket under the floodlights at Training Camp.

However, it was a mixed night for Phil Tufnell, who ruled himself out of the captaincy, saying, "I was more of a sergeant, really."

That didn't stop him batting at number two though - a decision he was to regret. Tuffers was run out for nought off his first ball.

"Oh, f***ing nought," he complained in the 'pavilion'. "My Mrs won't speak to me. I'm quietly gutted over the batting. Quietly gutted over the [ten pin] bowling. And quietly gutted over my defence of Ralf. Playing against a lot of actors and runners, I get nought."

Meanwhile, David Jones was hoisting the ball around the ground, smashing Iwan Thomas for consecutive sixes. It didn't ease Tuffers' pain though. Examining the scorecard, he moaned, "Tufnell, nought. Oh that's horrible."

Anthony Hutton was the pick of his side's bowlers, getting Will Mellor leg before, first ball. A brilliant catch by Shepherd gave him his second wicket of the over.

With Tufnell's team fielding, Andy Scott-Lee made cricket history by bowling with a helmet on. After two shocking wides, he opted for bowling underarm too.

After taking a spectacular catch off Nick Pickard's bowling, Tuffers mood improved. With each player bowling one over, he made his count. He trapped Alex Lawler lbw with his second ball but was unlucky to be called for a no ball when hitting the Harvey's stumps with his fourth. Two balls later though, he clean bowled him again.

After redeeming himself, maybe his Mrs will speak to him after all.
