Sheffield-born Thomas’ acting career began with such hits as ‘Peak Practice’, ‘Prime Suspect’ and ‘Soldier Soldier’. Following these successes he landed a leading role in the enormously popular ‘Where the Heart Is’ and is now best known for his role as Tommy Nelson in ‘Coronation Street’.

Craig partnered Alec Stewart in defence in last year’s The Match where he put in a fantastic performance and was without doubt one of the best players on the field.
