For 10 years Phil ‘The Cat’ Tufnell was one of England’s premier spin bowlers. He made his county debut in 1986 for Middlesex with whom he played 290 first class matches taking more than 1,000 wickets. His international career involved 42 matches for England taking 121 wickets.

Since retiring Phil has become one of Britain’s best loved television personalities, appearing in ‘They Think It’s all Over’ and most famously winning ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’. On the football pitch, Phil played in goal for his school and his hero was ‘The Match’ legend Peter Bonetti.
