Danny Young joined Coronation Street in 2004 as football-mad Warren Baldwin, the nephew of factory boss, Mike. Although no longer on the Street, Danny still has ties with Weatherfield as he is dating Nikki Sanderson, his former co-star.

On the football pitch, Danny started playing for Brentwood Boys at the tender age of six. A regular for his school he managed to win a place in the District of Essex team. When he was 10 Danny was a mascot for Leyton Orient and a year later he joined the Charlton Youth academy where he stayed for three years.
