Alex’s big break came when he landed the role of England footballer ‘Sexy’ in the film ‘Mike Bassett England Manager’ after which he starred in Sky One’s ‘Dream Team’ as the Harchester United goalkeeper. He spent an eventful three seasons on the show before being killed off in a coach crash. Alex has also appeared in the British gangster flick, ‘Rolling With the Nines.

Alex had the ideal preparation for football acting roles, signing for Rochdale FC as a schoolboy before moving to Halifax Town for three years. He is currently training at QPR and playing part-time for Chelmsford City.
