BIOGRAPHY
A legend north of the border, Ally McCoist scored a record 250 goals for Rangers and an incredible total of 355 goals throughout his career. To Rangers fans, where he won the championship 10 times, the Scottish FA Cup once and the Scottish League Cup nine times, he will always be Super Ally.
Ally had a knack of sniffing out goals and was deadly in the box. His scoring feats earned him 61 caps for Scotland and he was given an MBE in 1996 for his services to football. Scoring a hat-trick in a League Cup Final against Celtic earned him a place in Glasgow folklore, but his two Golden Boots indicate what a prolific striker he was throughout his career.
