KELLY OSBOURNE TO HOST SECOND SERIES OF PROJECT CATWALK

Sky One have unveiled the new host for the second series of Project Catwalk - Kelly Osbourne. The series that gives aspiring designers a rare and prized opportunity to break into the notoriously harsh fashion world is also giving Kelly her first break in to the world of presenting.

Kelly will be in charge of putting the fledgling designers through a series of tough fashion challenges throughout the 10 week series which will air on Sky One in 2007.

Kelly Osbourne said: “I have been lucky enough to receive many fabulous offers of television work over the last year, but nothing as exciting as the chance to host Project Catwalk. This has been one of the most talked about shows over the last five years and the chance to do a show that features two of my favourite loves – television and fashion - is a dream come true ……..what more could a girl want?”

Sam Anthony, Executive Producer for the show’s production company, Shine, said: ‘Ever since her guest appearance in the first series of Project Catwalk we have been excited by the idea of getting Kelly on board as the full time presenter for the show. Original, unpredictable and straight talking, Kelly is likely to cause a few fireworks as she puts the contestants through their paces each week… and expect more than a few surprises to keep them on their toes!’

Auditions are commencing across the country to find twelve promising designers to appear on the show. The contestants chosen will face elimination each week based on how they meet the challenges set for them until only three remain.

The three finalists will win the chance to showcase their collections to a group of fashion movers and shakers and the winning designer’s garments will be photographed for a top fashion magazine by one of the magazine's world-renowned photographers. The winning designer will also receive the seed money to help them launch their own line.
