From the people behind The Outer Limits comes Stargate: Atlantis. A spin-off from the popular series Stargate SG-1, Atlantis follows four explorers of distant worlds, who travel via the interplanetary portal, the Stargate.
After the discovery of a secret base left by the Ancients, a crew is assigned to find out more.
The base has been found on Earth, amid the ruins of the Lost City of Atlantis, which leads the team to a distant universe, the Pegasus galaxy, where a threatened human race are live under the constant fear of a Wraith attack.
Among the team are head Dr. Elizabeth Weir, pilot Major John Sheppard, Sheppard's second in command Lieutenant Aiden Ford and the beautiful alien woman Teyla Emmagan. Familiar already to Stargate fans is Doctor Rodney McKay continuing in his role as astrophysicist.
With only enough power to see them through on a one way exploration, the crew battle with new alien enemies and try their best to help other races, all knowing that they may never return home.
