Meet the Cast Taking time out from their very busy filming schedule, we booked ourselves in to talk with Mile High's top stars.  Katy Edwards (Lorna)Is being the new girl on set a bit like being the new girl at work/school or is it different in acting? In acting every time you get a new role it's the same, you change around a lot, so you get used to it. I think it's exciting for everyone when there's a new person as we all get to work together and the characters will develop with each other. We spend so much time together and it's great because we all really get on - it's like a big family here. Lorna loves her make-up. What item of make-up could you not live without? Lorna loves her make-up! She is perma-tanned! It'd probably be lip-gloss - Bobbi Brown do a great tangerine colour, it sounds funny but it's really nice. Lorna can be a bit dizzy at times, is that fun to play? And do people thing you must be ditzy in real-life too? More than likely they will. She says some silly things! She gets on the wrong side of Janis quite often. I'm more of a tomboy than a girlie girl so it's really nice to play someone opposite to me. All the people who know me thought it was funny I am playing someone so girly! Can we expect to see a more serious side to her character in the series? We hear she gets her heart broken… Oh God yeah! She gets her heart broken a lot! She falls in love very easily- far too easily! Lorna's very fun loving, but there's certain things that can upset her - things that she is vulnerable about. For example, one of the Captains makes a comment to her in one episode and she spends the rest of the day crying! Do you feel quite at home on Sky One as you also presented Ouch That Had to Hurt for the channel? I never realised: I'm basing all my work at Sky! I love my presenting work, I enjoy doing both acting and that together. I'm really happy where I am. What is your holiday style: culture and relaxation or sunbathing and clubbing? I'm so clubbing! No culture on my holidays! I love the sand, the sea. I love dressing up and getting ready to go out. I last went on holiday to the Dominican Republic, which was beautiful. I'm off to Mexico later this year, which I'm really looking forward to. If you could join the Mile High club with anybody who would it be? I think I'd better say my boyfriend…! What's the worst flight you've ever been on? It was to the Dominican Republic - I had a really bad hangover and was sick 6 times. I was running to and from the loos! I sat near the window, which was a really bad idea. The Essential Five
