DIY Clothing
Here are some top tips for DIY fashion. Don't forget, customising saves you money AND makes you stand out from the crowd. Get a little box (or a cleaned empty coffee jar) and start collecting stuff like sequins, beads, ribbon, fabric flowers, feathers, lace - anything glitzy. Then, you can customize away to your heart's content whenever you feel like it! If you're not very confident with sewing - don't panic. You can use pva glue or iron-on webbing to attach everything and keep edges from fraying.
Convert that Cardie
Take your boring old cardie and jazz it up by cutting some strips of colourful material and attaching it to the edges of the cardie and its pockets. You could try bright coloured net, or sparkly lurex - anything. Voila! A new cardie in 5 mins!!
