It's the season premiere and Angel and his crew are adjusting to life at the Wolfram & Hart offices. As Angel settles into his new surroundings, he meets Eve, a young woman who claims to be the new liaison between him and the Senior Partners. Eve tells Angel that if he wants to do some good in LA, he must first do some bad. As a result, Angel's forced to stop his first client going to jail despite his plans to drop a chemical warfare virus on California. Angel's day then takes a mysterious turn when his old nemesis makes a miraculous appearance.
