Building on the phenomenal success of the previous series, Road Wars IV combines gritty observational documentary with action-packed video footage.

Continuing the extraordinarily candid access to Thames Valley Police’s Proactive Team the programmes follow the 14 strong characters of the elite unit, as they brazenly and physically get under the skin of modern criminals. As well as featuring returning crews from previous programmes the new shows will introduce several new personalities to the screen.

Combined with this gripping action will be the best video stories from Britain and America, from cars flipping ten times on a Michigan motorway to drug dealers in Cleveland lobbing twenty grand’s worth of Heroin out of their fleeing Mitsubishi; the pace never slackens.

If that wasn’t enough, interspersed with all this action are moments of high humour from the outspoken and often bizarre people encountered by the Proactive team on the streets of Slough, Windsor, Bracknell, Milton Keynes and Reading.
