Ms Dynamite released from hospital
Ms Dynamite was yesterday released from hospital after being kept in over night as a precautionary measure after her high speed crash in Sunday’s The Race at Silverstone. Her car was moving at more than 100mph when it was knocked off the track by one of the other cars, hitting the pit lane wall before spinning a further 50 metres up the track.
Medical staff at the track said Ms Dynamite was awake and talking after the smash, and she was first treated at the track's medical centre before being taken to hospital in a helicopter. A spokesperson said: "She was conscious and talking and seemed to be OK. She doesn't appear to have any serious injuries, but she is bound to be very shaken..."
She was taken to hospital so doctors could keep an eye on her but she has now been released in to the care of her family and allowed home to London.
All of the celebs involved in the show had been very well trained for the high-speed driving. The stars would not have been allowed to take part in the Race had the expert trainers not been sure they were able to safely drive the vehicles. Certainly the thoughts of all of the celebrity participants were with Ms Dynamite when interviewed immediately after Sunday’s Grand Prix and all sent their love and best wishes to the singer. Similarly all of the show’s production crew who had enjoyed working closely with Ms Dynamite throughout the week’s events have sent their messages of support.
