Monday Update
  • Chris Evans and Damien Lewis start the day with a curry on the morning after another 5am finish.
  • Catherine Zeta Jones gets very upset and has to be comforted by Chris Evans after taking four shots to travel 100 yards. She said, "I’m losing it".
  • Boomer Essiason spent all last night in the bar staking out the European team.
  • Catherine Zeta-Jones said this is the most stressful thing she's ever done in her life
  • European team compete in a late night chocolate cake challenge. James Nesbitt wins, stuffing 14 profiteroles in his mouth.
  • Catherine Zeta Jones "plans to let her hair down tonight".
  • Jodie Kidd chains smokes her way through the course as the nerves start to get to her.
  • Off the first tee, Ronan sent thanks to his wife for not giving birth to his third child allowing him to complete play. She's due imminently.
  • Catherine Zeta Jones' wayward tee shots leave the crowd ducking for cover on the first and fourth holes.
  • Charlotte Church and boyfriend Gavin Henson relax over lunch in the VIP of the Celtic Manor Clubhouse. She commented: "I know bugger all about golf, but I'm having a great time being here."
  • Hayley Osment hits a ball into the crowd on hole five. It hit a person's back.
  • Chris Evans, Patrick Duffy and Cheech Marin all hit people in the crowd on the 5th. Evans signs his golf ball and gives it to the child he hit.
  • On hole six Catherine Zeta Jones continues to struggle with her game. She was seen attempting to break a club over her knee due to growing frustration with her game play. Commenting on her growing anger, team mate Chris Evans said: "Look at the temper on her. What does Michael have to put up with?" When a fan commented that she was looking beautiful today, she retaliated by saying: "Yes, but my golf is ugly."
  • The All*Star Cup event at the Celtic Manor Resort finished in dramatic fashion live on Sky One with Europe staging a late rally to snatch victory on the last hole in the final match. Damian Lewis and Ronan Keating won the 18th hole against Michael Douglas and Mark Spitz in front of several thousand adoring fans to secure a 91-89 win for the European team.


Sunday Update
  • Robbie Williams arrives at the Celtic Manor Resort to lend his support to the European team.
  • In last night's preview show, Catherine Zeta Jones admitted she "roped her husband into this", that he is a "much better golfer than her" and that she is "really out of her mind crazy nervous".
  • Catherine Zeta Jones expects 25 friends and family to arrive from Swansea to watch her match. On the red carpet before last night's glamorous gala dinner attended by the players, Catherine wows the adoring crowd with cheers of "Oggy, oggy, oggy" to the crowds’ response of "Oi, Oi, Oi".
  • Chris Evans and Robbie Williams battle it out in the bidding for Tiger Woods' signed pin flag from the Masters and tickets to the next Masters with Evans winning with a £40,000 bid.
  • Ian Wright upset that the American squad have been given better team outfits.
  • Ronan Keating auctions off his prize from the Pin High Charity Challenge, a £23,000 Audi TT, in aid of the Marie Keating Cancer Foundation raising £32,000 from highest bidder Colin Montgomerie.
  • James Nesbitt is the winning bidder for Chris Evans' auction offering – for the sum of £11,000 he will join Evans on his Radio 2 show to read the traffic reports before heading off by private jet to Ireland to meet up with Ronan Keating at the K Club for a round of golf.
  • Colin Montgomerie and Mark O'Meara take to the stage at the gala dinner for an interview with show hosts' Kirsty Gallacher and Jamie Theakston. When asked about what advice they’d be handing out to their respective teams, Monty said: "always have a loose grip" whilst O'Meara suggested his US players should "just swallow."
